MusicBreak: Presenting D’Banj’s first epic fail.
It’s definitely not Don Jazzy again.
True, “Oliver Twist” has made its debut on the Billboard UK Charts - at #9. But c’mon D’Banj. C’mon.
[We do have to thank you though: We now know what a migraine feels like. And to think that it happened within the first minute of this track. Gold star.]
This, we have to admit, is a “leaked” track. Although with Kanye West’s/G.O.O.D. Music’s track record as regards “leaked” tracks, you can understand why we added the quotation marks around “leaked”.
“Go down, go down, go down…”
In living up to his “Entertainer” tag, D’Banj gets half a star on this one. Out of 7 stars. Nothing in typical hilarious D’Banj fashion, and the entire track has less content than the chorus in many a previous Kokomasta track.
If their split was anything less than amicable, Don Jazzy and his new stable, Mavin Records, must be grinning silly.

We just had to do it again:
“Go down, go down, go down…”
MusicBreak: D’Banj with a rousing welcome in the UK.
So in an earlier post, we showed you this video of the KokoMasta at Plumsted Manor School dancing to “Oliver Twist” with a number of beautiful possibly not-yet-legal girls.
What we didn’t show you was the welcome he got the first time he walked in.

MusicBreak: D’Banj teaching UK high school students how to Oliver Twist.
With the Nigerian superstar’s single soaring up the Billboard UK Charts, D’Banj swung by Plumsted (insert appropriate wordplay here) Manor School to a proper celebrity reception - I’m talking screams, autographs, undergarments flung his way and the customary Illuminati sacrifice.
Sample this: D’Banj and a section of the girls dancing to his smash single, as the rest fuel them with energised chants.
From security guard to this.

Not bad at all.
“Lebete! Lebete lebete!”
[Whatever it means.]

“What do you mean ‘Illuminati’, @marcusolang?”
Really? I mention undergarments and all you notice is that? C’mon.
I saw this as a thumbnail on the YouTube sidebar and snickered.
Then I watched it. Promptly shut me up.
Estelle did NOTHING on her rendition.
THIS, though… *replay*
