So, Where Is The Pulp?
*chews*
One Catherine Mudachi (Senior Marketing Brand Manager, Coca-Cola Kenya) dropped by the office one morning during my show [1 FM Breakfast] and left me this tantalising little package.
*swirls tongue in mouth, chews*
[I know a couple of minds that went off on a tangent the moment I mentioned “little package.” Yes, I’m looking right at you two, Ess and Soraya.]
*sips, chews*
Quick one: When are these coming in 6-packs? I need my house stocked with bottle upon bottle of this stuff.
*still chewing*

One tiny little thing I thought I’d mention: I took that photo on my humble little phone. A Symbian. Nokia C-05 to be specific. [Good afternoon Mwirigi.]
In your face, Instagram.

Breaking New Music: Camp Mulla, “Hold it down.”
With an album coming up [“FuNkYToWN”], one would think they would be saving their material for the album.
Wrong.
They are going in harder with their material, getting stronger with every release.
2012 is indeed a fantastic year for African music.
And that video… Is that my Nairobi? This is absolutely stellar stuff. Or, as a friend of mine said:
“Clarence Peters for president.”
Nothing more, Your Honour.
AdBreak: “A dramatic surprise on a quiet square.”
Best 1 min 46 secs this week.
Here’s the blurb in the YouTube video description.
To launch the high quality TV channel TNT in Belgium we placed a big red push button on an average Flemish square of an average Flemish town. A sign with the text “Push to add drama” invited people to use the button. And then we waited… Discover here what happened or visit http://www.tnt-tv.be for more info.
TNT. We know drama.
Having watched this video 5 times, I cannot dispute that last bit.

Someone at QTV taking notes? No? Ok then.
Cassie: “King of Hearts.”
The surface area of skin is directly proportional to the length of time passed since one’s debut.
They all sound the same nowadays, don’t they?
What started off as the search for this here bubblegum track ended up with me finding this one, Cassie’s comeback track.
[In case that first one wasn’t enough to jog your memory, there’s this. And this.]
And this. (Image via her Twitter page)
September 2012 is what’s placed as the tentative release for her sophomore album. As regards this particular track, I’m not quite sold. Not as yet.
Although with a few more listens, I’m sure it’ll grow on me. And seeing how between Bad Boy and Interscope Records there’s a monster of a marketing machine…

If my opening statement is anything to go by, I wonder what this here lady will be clad in in a few years.
Reumac Shot This: Michelle Kamene.
His work has featured here quite a number of times, under my Top 12 series: “Top 12 Shots” and “Top 12 Moments”.
This morning, le me was looking through the good chap’s posts, and my attention was drawn to this particular photo on his banner.
Being the good lad that I am, I decided to look through his posts till I found the one with this here photo.
For a very curious friend. [Hey, what are friends for, ey?]
Superb work, Reumac.

I notice this small detail hidden somewhere in the post containing these photos.
Earworm: Atomic Kitten, “Tide is high.”
No, I do not understand how I woke up with this earworm. Worse: I’m not even in a long-term relationship. I need to hit th gym.
Curious thing though: They are set for a reunion. Yes, 8 years since they parted ways, Atomic Kitten are making plans for a comeback.
Said one of the trio, Natasha Hamilton: “We’re really excited about getting back together and singing again. We’ve all been doing our own thing but we thought the time was right to reform. I think it will be fun to go on tour to perform for a whole new generation of fans.”
“And in the eighth year they rose again… and they appeared to their followers, saying, ‘Touch us, if you do not believe…’”

How much are you willing to bet that they’ll be the next lot performing in Kenya?
